Role

We are seeking a candidate lead and deliver an Analysis, Project, or Program within a client organization, aiming to achieve specific time, cost, and quality targets. This typically involves collaborating with a team comprising multiple (Senior) Consultants and 5 to 7 client task force members.

Responsibilities

To achieve Analysis, Project, or Program objectives with the client taskforce, we employ a multifaceted approach. First and foremost, we apply Accelerant methodologies and tools, leveraging our expertise to drive efficient and effective outcomes. Performance management is integral to our strategy, encompassing the establishment, monitoring, and proactive actioning of key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the task force operates at the required level. Additionally, we prioritize performance visibility, consistently highlighting project progress and identifying potential roadblocks, taking swift action to resolve issues as they arise. Our commitment to Operational Excellence is unwavering, as we implement principles aimed at fostering continuous improvement throughout the client’s business processes, ensuring that both management and employees are fully invested in driving positive outcomes and empowered to enact meaningful change.

Relationship management is a cornerstone of our approach, as we diligently build and maintain strong connections with client staff at all levels, fostering continuous buy-in for the workstream’s objectives. Moreover, we place a premium on ensuring optimum team utilization, strategically deploying resources to maximize efficiency and productivity. Lastly, we prioritize the transfer of skills and knowledge to both client and team members, employing coaching, mentoring, and training initiatives to facilitate capacity building and foster a culture of learning and growth within the organization. Through these concerted efforts, we are dedicated to driving success and delivering tangible value for our clients.

Ensuring the success of the Analysis, Program, or Project(s) is paramount to our approach. Firstly, we meticulously understand the client’s strategy and operational deficiencies, tailoring Accelerant’s offerings to precisely address these challenges. Performance management is integral to our strategy, as we regularly review and act upon performance indicators to maintain momentum and drive results. Relationship management plays a pivotal role, as we actively manage and facilitate connections with client staff across all levels, ensuring continuous buy-in and alignment with project objectives. Moreover, we prioritize the transfer of skills and knowledge to both client and team members through comprehensive coaching, mentoring, and training initiatives. Additionally, we take charge of managing and delivering Analysis reports, Project Status reports, and/or Project Quality Index reports, meticulously tracking profitability and margins to uphold accountability and transparency.

Contributing to Accelerant’s success involves multifaceted efforts aimed at enhancing our organizational capabilities and fostering growth. We actively develop staff by proactively monitoring and addressing people issues, providing constructive feedback, identifying and addressing training needs, and supporting career planning and recruitment efforts as necessary. Furthermore, we contribute to methodological enhancements by implementing and testing changes in our project approach and delivery methods, driving continuous improvement and innovation. Revenue growth is a collective endeavor, and we support the Director in sector expansion initiatives, identifying and converting opportunities for additional work within existing clients, and actively participating in marketing activities as needed. Lastly, we prioritize resource optimization by actively engaging in resource planning and ensuring optimal utilization of our team’s skills and expertise. Through these concerted efforts, we remain committed to driving success and delivering value for both our clients and Accelerant as a whole.

Skills profile

Abilities or techniques that have been acquired or developed through training:

  • Bachelor/Masters degree.
  • Fluent in local language and English plus one other West-European language.
  • 5-10 years’ experience in Accelerant’s key industry sectors combined with the ability to work in a consulting environment.
  • Proven track record of Change Management and Operational Excellence.
  • Expertise in one of Accelerant’s core capabilities, e.g. Supply Chain Management, Asset Management, Process Excellence, Organisational Effectiveness.
  • Analysis – Can identify trends, patterns, connections and discrepancies within data, ideas, events, or behaviours; can condense complex data and communicate them in a useful format; can articulate complex messages in simple and structured form, link them to conclusions and communicate results; can carry out complex tasks by breaking them down into manageable chunks and addressing them in a systematic way.
  • Digitisation – a solid understanding of the possibilities to facilitate data and process flows through digital solutions, enabling a transition from data collection to insights and actions.
  • Interpersonal Skills – Can understand political relationships in organisations and identify key decision makers and influencers; can engage all relevant client staff; can anticipate and prepare for pushback.
  • Account Strategy and Development – Can create and manage an account development strategy; can connect projects to operational strategy; can spot opportunities in the future and convert them
    Commercial acumen (financial and operational).
  • Experienced user of MS Office (especially Powerpoint / Excel / Word).
