Role

We are seeking a candidate to simultaneously manage the delivery of 3-4 complex projects/Analysis or Programs across a number of clients in order to ensure successful delivery in accordance with client expectations and identifying additional business opportunities within existing clients.

The role requires substantial travelling in Europe and beyond.

Responsibilities

Taking full responsibility for successful analysis and/or project/program implementation is a key aspect of the role. This involves supporting business development executives in client meetings to ensure accurate mutual expectations and to encourage innovative thinking. Additionally, monitoring and supervising several projects/programs is essential to secure delivery, quality, and profitability. Supporting and coaching managers in their roles is also a crucial part of the job.

Managing the development of client relationships involves understanding the clients’ strategic challenges, important problems, issues, concerns, and decision-making processes. It is important to ensure that the work constantly adapts to and matches the clients’ state of business. Effective management of communication with the client, both formal and informal, is vital. Identifying and exploring opportunities for additional business is also part of the responsibilities, as well as influencing and shaping clients’ views of Accelerant throughout the project. Identifying opportunities to apply Accelerant’s capabilities to add further value to the client and expanding the business with existing accounts are critical tasks.

Building strong teams is another important aspect, which includes ensuring goal setting, appraisal of team members, and conducting feedback meetings. Transferring skills and knowledge through informal and formal training is necessary for developing people within the operations community. Supporting the building of operations capability by interviewing and assessing potential candidates is also part of the role.

Skills profile

Abilities or techniques that have been acquired or developed through training:

  • Bachelor or Masters degree
  • Fluent in local language and English plus one other European language
  • A highly regarded reputation within a key Accelerant industry sector based on a solid track record of delivering business process improvements and an intimate understanding of the industry
  • Expertise in one and strong awareness of all Accelerant capabilities and how they can add value to clients
  • Strong track-record in Change Management and Operational Excellence
  • Analysis – Can identify key trends, patterns, connections and discrepancies within data, ideas, events, or behaviours; can condense complex data and communicate them in a useful format; can address complex strategic issues and translate them into a series of activities that will deliver the strategic goals; can pay attention to important detail
  • Digitisation – a solid understanding of the possibilities to facilitate data and process flows through digital solutions, enabling a transition from data collection to insights and actions.
  • Interpersonal Skills – Can identify key decision makers, build trusting relationships with staff on all organisational levels, and thereby create a network of contacts that will assist in achieving business goals
  • Commercial acumen (financial, operational, and strategic)
  • Experienced user of MS Office (especially Powerpoint / Excel / Word)
