The “double top line target” strategy had to be translated into an Operational Strategy to define how the target could be reached. The transformation program then had to lay the groundwork for a sustainable continuous improvement culture across the value chain, resulting in successful realization of the “double top line” target. To secure success a Program and Performance Management system was implemented to improve cross- functional communication, implement active performance management with closed action and decision loops, and create a performance-oriented and aligned organization.
